Commercial epoxy flooring

Commercial Epoxy Flooring for Hangars, Warehouses & Facilities

Your floor should be the last thing slowing down your operation. NES Flooring installs heavy-duty epoxy systems for working facilities across Parker County and DFW, planned around your schedule and built so you don't have to shut down twice.

The real cost of a floor

Downtime costs more than the floor does

When part of a facility closes, the cost isn't just the flooring invoice. Equipment and inventory get moved, crews get rerouted, and shipping or service schedules shift. A low bid that fails in two years means doing all of that again, plus the cost of removing a failed coating.

That's why we compare commercial floors on total impact, not price per square foot. The right system matches how the space is actually used: forklift traffic, rolling equipment, dropped tools, oils, cleaning chemicals, and the temperature of a Texas building in August.

Every commercial job starts with a walk of the facility, a look at the concrete, and a conversation about which areas must stay active. Then we build the schedule with you.

Solid epoxy systems

Why most commercial spaces choose solid color epoxy

A solid epoxy floor is a seamless, high-performance system focused on strength, chemical resistance, and easy maintenance. It creates a dense, non-porous surface that stands up to daily wear, vehicle traffic, equipment, and spills.

  • Strong resistance to oil, grease, and chemical spills
  • A seamless surface that doesn't trap dirt or moisture
  • Bright, uniform color that improves light in the space
  • Additional coats available for higher-traffic areas
  • Simple cleaning: sweep, mop, no waxing or sealing

Flake systems are available for showrooms, break rooms, and customer-facing spaces where texture and a decorative look matter more.

Common problems caused by poor epoxy installation

Most commercial floor failures come from the installation, not the material. Knowing these helps you compare proposals.

  1. Peeling or lifting

Caused by poor surface preparation. Grinding is essential; acid washing or light cleaning can't replace it.

  2. Bubbles

Caused by trapped moisture coming up through a slab that wasn't evaluated or sealed with a moisture barrier.

  3. Soft or tacky spots

Caused by incorrect mixing or coating outside the right conditions.

  4. Uneven appearance

Caused by rushed application and skipped repairs to cracks and surface defects.

Facility manager questions

Commercial epoxy flooring FAQ

Can you work around our operating schedule?

We plan every commercial project around your operation. Where the space allows, work can be phased by section, aisle, or bay so part of the facility stays in use. We'll agree on the sequence and return-to-service times before we start.

When can equipment and vehicles go back on the floor?

Foot traffic can return about 12 hours after we finish and vehicles after 72 hours under normal conditions. Heavy equipment, forklifts, and chemical exposure may need additional cure time, and we'll give you a clear schedule for each type of use.

Do you use subcontractors on commercial jobs?

No. The team that walks your facility and writes the proposal is the team that does the work, on commercial jobs the same as residential ones.

Do you provide a warranty on commercial floors?

Yes. Our installations carry a 10-year warranty covering workmanship, so the floor stays properly bonded and free from defects related to our installation.
