Residential epoxy flooring

Residential Epoxy Flooring for Garages, Homes & Patios

Your garage is the most-used door into your house. Your patio takes the full Texas sun. NES Flooring turns plain concrete into seamless, easy-to-clean floors that look finished and stay that way, installed by a family crew from Weatherford.

The problem with bare concrete

Concrete at home works harder than anyone planned for

Garages hold trucks, golf carts, lawn equipment, freezers, and the workout bench. Patios hold the grill, the dogs, and every summer party. Bare concrete under all of that soaks up oil, sheds dust you track inside, and stains the first time something spills.

A residential epoxy floor seals the slab completely. Oil, mud, and spills sit on top where a mop or hose takes care of them. The surface is bright, uniform, and finished, so the space starts to feel like part of the house instead of a dusty afterthought.

What separates a floor that lasts from one that peels in a year is how it's installed. Every home we coat gets the full system, no roll-on shortcuts, and a 10-year workmanship warranty behind it.

Two finishes

Flake epoxy or solid color: which floor fits your space?

Both systems start the same way: diamond-ground concrete and a moisture-barrier epoxy base. The difference is what goes on top, and how you want the floor to look and work.

Flake epoxy floors

Colored vinyl flakes are broadcast into the wet base coat until the floor is fully covered, then scraped smooth and locked in with a clear polyaspartic topcoat.

  • Light texture for better grip than bare concrete
  • Hides dust, tire marks, and minor concrete flaws
  • Choose one of our ready blends or create a custom one
  • The most popular choice for garages and patios

Solid color epoxy floors

A uniform, seamless color with a clean, bright finish. Additional coats can be added for thickness where traffic is heavy.

  • Even color that reflects light and brightens the room
  • A clean, modern look that pairs with any decor
  • Simple to clean and straightforward to maintain
  • A popular choice for home gyms and laundry rooms

We install flake and solid color systems in epoxy and urethane. We don't install metallic epoxy finishes. We put our energy into the two systems that hold up under real-world use.

Working with NES

What a residential project looks like with us

We start with a free on-site consultation. We look at the concrete, ask how you use the space, measure, and show you flake samples in your own light. You get a detailed written quote with no hidden fees.

On install day the same people you met show up with the grinders. We prep, repair, coat, and seal, then do a final inspection with you before we leave. You'll know exactly when you can walk on the floor and when the cars can come back in.

Homeowner questions

Residential epoxy flooring FAQ

Do I need to empty my garage before you start?

Yes. We need the floor completely clear so we can grind wall to wall. Most homeowners move things to the driveway, a spare room, or a portable storage unit for the few days the project and cure take. We'll walk you through timing at the consultation.

How long does a residential floor take?

Most garages and patios are prepped and coated in a short window, then need time to cure. You can walk on the floor 12 hours after we finish and drive on it after 72 hours.

Will my floor be slippery?

Flake floors have a light texture that grips better than bare concrete. If you want more traction, for a patio, a ramp, or a pet area, we can add a slip-resistant additive to the topcoat.

What does the warranty cover?

Every installation comes with a 10-year warranty covering our workmanship. It guarantees your floor stays properly bonded and free from defects related to our installation process.
