Warehouse epoxy flooring

Warehouse Epoxy Flooring Built for Forklifts and Long Shifts

Warehouse floors take pallet jacks, forklifts, racking, and spills every single shift. We install heavy-duty epoxy systems that protect the slab, brighten the building, and get planned around your receiving and shipping schedule.

Why coat a warehouse floor

Bare warehouse concrete wears out faster than you think

Unprotected warehouse concrete takes a beating. Forklift tires and pallet jacks grind the surface into dust that settles on inventory. Spills soak in and stain. Joints and cracks chip at the edges and get worse with every wheel that rolls over them. Over time, the floor becomes harder to clean and harder to look at.

A solid color warehouse epoxy floor seals the slab completely. It creates a dense, non-porous surface that resists oil, grease, and chemical spills, cuts down on concrete dust, and brightens the whole building by reflecting overhead light. Cleaning comes down to sweeping, scrubbing, and occasional mopping.

Planning around operations

Keeping the warehouse moving while we work

Some facilities can avoid a full shutdown by dividing the project into smaller sections. A warehouse may complete one aisle or zone at a time while the rest keeps running. Phasing works when it's planned: equipment is moved before each stage, temporary travel paths are clear, and our crew has uninterrupted access to the work area.

We'll also give you clear return-to-service times. Foot traffic can come back before forklifts, and shelving and heavy equipment may need more cure time than light traffic. You'll know when each type of activity can resume before work starts, not after.

  1. Walk the facility

Inspect the slab, joints, cracks, and moisture, and map which areas must stay active.

  2. Agree on the sequence

Set phases, equipment moves, and return-to-service times in writing.

  3. Prep and coat each zone

Grind, repair, and build the coating system zone by zone.

  4. Inspect and hand back

Final inspection and your 10-year workmanship warranty.

The system

A warehouse floor system matched to your traffic

A light-duty coating won't survive a high-traffic industrial aisle. We review traffic levels, impact risks, chemical exposure, and cleaning methods before recommending a system and coat count.

  • Mechanical diamond grinding to prepare the concrete
  • Repair of cracks, chips, and surface defects
  • A high-performance epoxy base coat
  • Controlled curing for proper bonding
  • Optional additional coats for thickness and durability

Warehouse questions

Warehouse epoxy flooring FAQ

Can you coat a warehouse in phases?

Often, yes. A warehouse may be completed one aisle or zone at a time so receiving and shipping keep moving. Phasing has to be planned carefully, with equipment moved before each stage, so we agree on the sequence before work begins.

Will epoxy hold up to forklifts and pallet jacks?

A properly prepared and bonded epoxy system is built for rolling equipment and heavy traffic. We size the system and number of coats to your equipment and traffic levels during the site visit.

How do I clean a warehouse epoxy floor?

Regular sweeping or scrubbing removes grit, and occasional mopping with mild cleaners keeps it bright. The floor needs no waxing, sealing, or special treatments.

What if our slab has cracks or old coatings?

Old coatings are removed by grinding and cracks and surface defects are repaired before coating. Those repairs are identified during the inspection so they're in the schedule and the quote, not a surprise mid-project.
